22 Teen and Children’s Books Featuring Trans or Non-binary Characters

While researching books for DiversityBingo2017, I was pleasantly surprised at how many books I could find that featured a trans or gender non-conforming character. There is, of course, always room for improvement, but I found so many that piqued my interest that I’m actually splitting my list into two pieces.

If the title didn’t give it away, this post will feature books written for kids and teens, with another list for adults coming soon but I encourage everyone to try at least one book from this list, regardless of age!
